Commander William Marks explains the Navy's search tactics and why they will not continue searching the Andaman Islands.
Why have you not covered the rumours about a secret military cargo and the plane being hijacked by Black Ops and taken to Diego Garcia which is in the flight path of the reprogrammed plane? If the US military wanted to keep this cargo from getting to the Chinese would they divert the plane?
Watching now at 6:07 pm. A few assumptions about why nobody made calls from the plane should be addressed. As a professional US pilot, I can assure you that most people on an airplane have no idea where they are when the plane is in the air. Several years ago, while flying from Pittsburg, PA to Evansville, IN, I had a passenger in the back ask through the flight attendant if the bright lights below we're the lights of New York City. The lights were Wheeling, WV. Recently a passenger flying on my plane from New York to Miami demanded to know where we were going, since he thought we were too far out to sea. The average person knows very little geography. In the middle of the night, people have no idea where they are over the surface of the earth, assuming they are even awake. A passenger does not know a 30 degree turn from a 180 degree turn, especially at night. Why would anyone assume the passengers would automatically know the plane was not going where it was supposed to go in the dark at 1:30 in the morning? Phones are not used in flight. By the time the plane was beyond its arrival time in Beijing, it was also beyond range of any cellular tower.
