Russian President Vladimir Putin skis in Sochi amidst fears the Olympic site could be vulnerable to terrorism.
Putin is in good shape, he should weather the storm over the homosexual controversy, because a huge majority of his citizens are, shall we say much like a lot of USA citizens which are against Gay Marriage or public displays of homosexual behavior. Russia does have a very low percentage of people with the AIDS virus compared to the USA and a question arises, will the influx of homosexuals entering the country during the Olympics endanger the Russian Citizenry. It's is hard to prepare and insure safety for possible terrorism as well. There is risk from all directions, I pray that Putin will end the Gay bashing in his country and also be able to protect the games, the athletes, the spectators and Russia's citizenry. We should all be pulling for Putin to do a good job and remember he is looking out for us as well, he did warn our intelligence agencies of the linkage of the Boston Marathon Bombers to terrorist groups. The NSA was probably just too busy spying on Patriotic Americans investigate something from Russia, plus as you remember Big Oil really wanted to get the Oil Spill in Arkansas off the news. By the way is any News Media that Oil Spill clean up today, has there been any progress, or is the complete area which it happened still...unsuitable for life.
