Pres. Obama's National Security Adviser Susan Rice dismisses reports that the U.S. is being required to apologize to Afghanistan for American errors as part of a bilateral security agreement that would allow the U.S. to keep troops on the ground. "There is no need for the U.S. to apologize - quite the contrary," she says.
