Big donors fight campaign finance limits

In 2010, the Supreme Court made a historic ruling in "Citizens United," eliminating limits on how much money corporations and unions could contribute to candidates for office. Now, individual donors like Shaun McCutcheon, want the same. CNN's Joe Johns reports on McCutcheon's case before the Supreme Court that could undercut most of the remaining rules on campaign contributions.

I'm a 64 year old retired U.S. Navy veteran, three tours of Viet Nam, living in red state of Idaho. I have always been for what I feel is best for our country. I have voted Democratic and Republican, never a die hard either way. I never thought, I would see the tail wagging the dog. But, here we are the Tea Party has managed to pull it off! With moderate Republicans, along with the speaker, having caved in to this extreme branch of the house to save there butts come election time. They have put themselves above the well being of the country. Our military has made the altimetnt I feel the hatred for our President by sore losers / extremest has blinded them from logic. I would like to see a congress work to gather. One side doing everything in there power do discredit the other has ended up it the mess were in now. I'm ashamed of anyone or any political party that is so narrow minded. President Obama has to stand firm on this or future political extremest will use this same insane tactic to control our government. Our enemies world wide must be loving this political stupidity.

The question that doesn't get asked on CNN news. How do Senators and Congressmen justify getting paid while 800,000 other Government workers are furloughed with no pay ?
