Obama: It's a "Republican shutdown"
Day one of a government shutdown hit America today, and there is no end in sight. CNN's Jim Acosta looks at the view from the White House and how Pres. Obama responded during his remarks in the Rose Garden, saying, "This Republican shutdown did not need to happen."
