A new video obtained by the New York Times allegedly shows rebel fighters brutally executing Syria soldiers. CNN's Chris Lawrence reports on the debate over who the rebels are.
These are the people Obama asks us to assist.
Jim, I have not forgotten – nor will I ever forget EVERYTHING that led to one of the worst atrocities our country as ever faced – 9/11. It seems no one is sure on who the enemy is; al-Assad, who commits mass murder on his own civilians? Or the rebel factions, which have been linked to al qaeda operatives? A civil war in the middle east is not news, nor will it ever end, because groups such as Hamas or Hezbollah continue to create anomosities towards those who do not agree with them – especially, against the 'west'. One thing is for sure; the use of chemical weapons by ANY group on innocent civilians cannot go without a response or action from the world. These UN regulations need to be strictly adhered to in order to maintain a non-chaotic planet.
1) US strike means involvment of atleast Israel, france, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iran, Russia. It will further pull more countries into it later and eventually world war 3(means end of the world).
2) Oil prices will go skyhigh and world economy will crash.
3) If US strikes then rebels are going to get more stronger which means Alqaeda will get strength and then will be uncontrollable.
4) We spent billions and trillions of tax payers dollars last decade and sacrificed thousands of soldiers to destroy alqaeda and now we are going to support them and strengthen them?
All of them are our enemies.Have you all forgot 911.I haven't.All of you people who want war, pack your bags and go there.Do You Have The Guts,or are you all talk?Jim Thomas Phx.Az.
