Details of U.S. intelligence on Syria

News that broke in The Situation Room: Another U.S. Navy warship with 300 Marines has been placed off the coast of Syria in the eastern Mediterranean. CNN's Barbara Starr reports on the U.S. military's movements in the area and what intelligence knew before, during, and after last week's chemical attack by the al-Assad regime.

The Saudi's and the Turks could strike at Syria (as they are equipped to) but they won't. They arms rebels in a civil war in Syria but wash their hands off the civilian deaths (apologies to Pontius Pilate). They all want the US to. Why? I bet the day after the US strike, you will see demonstrations in every capital in the Middle East protesting "American imperialism".

Looks like this will become a joint US-Russian operation, despite what they are saying.Use of chemical weapons is just cover for the operation.Russia has 3 warships from the Black Sea fleet, Russia sold the weapons, pretty sure they can jam lock and load of missiles, US can wipe them out. Do not think US has the capability of jamming the weapons, even though they say they know where they are. They need the Russians here.I think, the big powers allowed Syria to fall apart and now the Syrian state is unstable. If Assad falls, the chemical weapons go to who?....Al Qaeda and Al Nissra....then we have a real mess.Obama, needs Congressional approval, there will be a wider war,he knows it.
