Wolf Blitzer delivers the most important breaking news and political, international, and national security stories of the day. Tune to The Situation Room weekdays 5-7pm ET on CNN.
Former Congressman and presidential candidate Ron Paul discusses the future of the GOP with Wolf Blitzer, saying that he wouldn't support Chris Christie if he was the nominee and that his son Sen. Rand Paul is "certainly capable" to be commander-in-chief.
Christie seems at least sane and seems to be light years ahead the whole GOP in that regard. The Pauls' aren't true Republicans but rather Libertarians. I would urge Christie to go ahead and switch parties as there won't be much of a Republican Party of the future. I do suspect an emergence of a new party or third and even fourth party shortly after the GOP suicidal departure takes place. The GOP metaphorical speaking appears to look like a punch drunk fighter going into the final round stumbling right into a left hook KO. A Presidential Voting Electorate will never trust the GOP again, so the GOP will never win the Presidency again. Bush has done for Republicans, what Hitler did for the Nazi's and we the people will, ' Never Forget:'.
