On Obamas' speech – Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman; We may have seen a great moment and not realized it. Was this Kennedys' Berliner speech, or even Martin Luther Kings', I had a dream; I understand that one of President Obamas' favourite books is, Team of Rivals, he has indeed succeeded in emulating one of his heroes. I would go as far as saying, Obama has given his Gettysburg Address.

There are so many deliberate misstatements it is hard to figure out which to address first. How about Zimmerman "chased" Martin? That must be the slowest chase in history. Giving someone a 4 minute head start in a 1/4 mile (or less) race assures who will win the chase. How about Zimmerman "profiled" Martin? I have been a ride along in a retirement park in Texas where my Dad lived. They were trained to follow ANYONE they saw in the park after hours that they didn't recognize. If something was "strange", they called the police. Someone high on drugs would be acting strange. There are too many more crazy ideas about profiling. It appears to me Martin "profiled" Zimmerman (cracker statement) as much as Zimmerman "profiled" Martin as a thug. Cracker has a lot more racial overtones than anything Zimmerman said.
