RELATED STORY: Judge: Zimmerman jurors can consider manslaughter charge
Has anyone else thought that the prosecution could have used the "Stand Your Ground" law for Trayvon Martin too... He was followed then approached by an unknown grown NON POLICE man. By law didn't he have the right 2 stand his ground too... Not be bullied, profiled, and harassed???
George Zimmerman was acting as the captain of the neighbor watch and he violated the laws of the training and instruction was given not to pursue someone that is seen as (he called suspect). George Zimmerman was not acting in self defense for himself, but up under the guidelines and laws of the neighborhood watch in which he violated and took upon himself. George Zimmerman murdered Trayvon Martin and it was not in self defense and he deserve to be punish.
I think Zimmerman should get Manslaughter at the very least. #1 he is not a police officer..should have stayed in his car. #2 he is left handed and his story doesn't jive with the kid on top of him and the gun in holster in his back right side....#3 he originally told the police he aimed...if you do not have your gun already out you have no time to aim you just shoot. His story is sketchy and I'm sure the women jurors will see this!
Trayvon Martin caused his own death – When he saw George Zimmerman following him – Trayvon Mating should have told George Zimmerman that he was visiting his Father and should have called his father to verify the situation – Instead he chose to make it seem that he was doing something wrong – George Zimmerman was doing his job by protecting his community – especially with the break ins that did occure – Trayvon Martin caused his own death by playing a cat and mouse game- Very sad – but he could have prevented it!
