When I was in VietNam (1966-68), a Viet Cong soldier was on top of another of our Marine Recon members and this Corporal shot him with his .45 caliber just like Zimmerman shot Trayvon! As this Viet Cong soldier raised his right arm to stab him! I was ten feet away- so this is what I believed happened with Trayvon on top.

The problem I have with this case is that outside pressure allowed politics by two elected black county officials to allow the parents to hear the tapes in a group at the time of an open investigation and the Judge allowed those people to testify and evidence given in court – probably due to the influence of political pressure (an elected official who will face the consequences politically if she did not allow the parents to testify). Is it fair for the defense lawyers to defend their client against 2nd degree murder charges and suddenly at the end of the trial prosecutors are allowed to include assault & manslaughters as a lesser included offense when they feel that they haven't proven 2nd degree murder. I do not think this man was out to assaulted the victim but his actions and the victims use of drugs helped in making him (the victim) paranoid. Consequently, making lawmakers aware that neighborhood watch needs to be only watch with the use of cameras monitored in rooms rather then allow them to run around on the streets playing cops and robbers. However, this is the fault of our legislatures and actions should be made to change the law as to what a person on neighborhood watch can and can not do and call this law the Trayvon Martin Law in respect for this poor victim of stand your ground – remember Zimmerman is a minority also and racism should stay out of this issue. In addition, the family should be allowed to place a law suit on the city police for not monitoring these pretend cops stand your ground vigilantes.

The tragedy of this case from the beginning was the President of the U.S. weighing in publicly and then sending his justice department out to force a trial when it should never have gotten to that point. The defense team are excellent lawyers, but there is not a shred of evidence removing reasonable doubt despite a judge who is obviously hostile. Stand your ground is a good law to keep neighborhoods like this one from being ruled by crime while the police are always 10 minutes away.

Sorry, I meant the state prosecution team was good, but had nothing.
