RELATED STORY: Witness: Zimmerman, Martin in MMA-style fight
Zimmerman story has many holes!!! Zimmerman said Travon was approaching him with hands in waist, circled his car and Zimmerman is so scared that he gets out the car and follows Travon. If you think Travon has a weapon in his pants why would he get out the car. Then it's clear, the operator says are you following him, he says YES but later he says he was looking for an address. If you are captain of neighborhood watch its your job to know the streets, know where your neighbors live. Plus he was calling the cops so much he had to have given them directions before.. He even knew he wasn't going back to the car because he tells the cop to call him when he gets out their instead of meeting him. His injuries don't match up with life threatening injuries and he admits that the voice crying for help doesn't sound like him.
Zimmerman was negligent with neighborhood watch, 911 operator, and had no right to follow someone without retaliation. He was negligent with neighborhood watch cause they state you are not to carry a gun while on duty. Then, you do not follow suspicious activity, you report it. Next he really puts himself out their when he gets out after he said Travon circled the car. A normal person would have really stayed in car after that. When he is explains to the lead investigator about looking for street sight, he deliberately does not mention that the operator tells him not to follow Travon. So he disregards every training, everybody, shoots and kills someone and is suppose to get away with it. Zimmerman had ill will when he was thinking about all those other robberies and linked Travon as one of them and considered them to be scum of the earth and so he could just kill one because they deserved it.
Who has a gun during neighborhood watch? Im sure if they are just suppose to be eyes and ears, they are not suppose to have a gun. A gun makes you feel more powerful than you actually are. If he didn't have that gun he most likely wouldn't even have got out the car. Zimmerman wanted to shoot, he knew the cops were on their way. Travon had a right to defend himself from a creepy person he did not know and was chasing him. If your running from a person and he is chasing you.....What are you gonna do? Your gonna fight and try to get an upper hand. Zimmerman at least deserves 30 years! Humans have evolved, this is not the wild Wild West and you cannot just throw yourself in situations and come out shooting.
Zimmerman being in mixed Marshall arts is a large piece to the story also. It puts you in fighting situations and gets you thinking in how to approach a fight. He could have been training in how to take a beating just enough to try to claim self defense. Zimmerman has all the elements of an aggressor, wrestling with a cop, profiling other blacks in neighborhood, and the words he used....These Assholes always get away. When Travon ran, Zimmermans plans got messed up so he had to pursue him to start the fight. He thought he had it set up when he was telling operator, he is coming towards me with hands in waist.......So Zimmerman could use gun.
It seems we are missing the whole point of the situation. Trevon was an innocent kid and got caught up in confrontation that Zimmerman started. Martin wasn't doing anything wrong until Zimmerman confronted him. Florida's dumb law is going to let him go free.
Did Zimmerman have a a pre- planned agenda his wife was to follow if he shot someone? Just wondering why he would say "Just tell her i shot someone."
Maybe I missed it, but was it ok for Zimmerman to confront Martin even tough he was advised not to be the police? It would seem to me like Zimmerman was the aggressor. How can you claim self defense when you go after someone? Didn't Zimmerman give up his self defense once he decided to ignore the proper authorities? I would just like clarification and I am sure there are others who would like the same. Thanks.
