Of course she's not. People simply don't know her. She is being misread and misunderstood. We all know the words we choose to use don't indicated the type of people we are. They don't determine our character or our intellect. Our choice of words doesn't reflect our level of education, class, integrity or likability. We can say anything we want, they're just words, they don't tell who we are. All people who say Paula Deen is not a racist despite the words she uses are not good judges of character, obviously.
