You have crossed the line McCain. We have a President and Secretary of State tasked by law with interfacing with foreign entities. You can speak and advocate a position here at home and on the floor of Congress. I consider it high treason for you to make contact with factionalized participants on foreign soil during an armed civil conflict on that soil.

as a Vietnam veteran, I have only the greatest respect for John McCain, for his service to the country, and heroism at the Hanoi Hilton, but I think it's time for Sen. McCain to retire, he has been on the wrong side of almost every issue for the last four years, once again he displays his misunderstanding of where the weapons will go. and the need for the balance of power in the Middle East, the Russian seems to understand it, and certainly the Israelis understand it, if Syria falls, the Muslim brotherhood, will have another country, and quite frankly nothing good can come of that.
