(CNN)– The White House released more than 100 pages of e-mails on Wednesday in a bid to quell critics who say President Barack Obama and his aides played politics with national security following the deadly attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya.
The exchanges detailing discussions between top Obama administration officials from multiple agencies suggest the CIA took the lead in developing talking points to describe the attack last September 11 that killed Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans.
Why no special prosecutor for the IRS scandal? If the Valerie plame non-story was worthy of one, I would certainly think something as big as the IRS targeting people and groups is a no brainer.
Also, why is it that these civil service employees cannot be fired? The same thing happened at the State Dept. 4 people supposedly "lost their jobs". However we found out later that they are still working for the government, and were merely re-assigned to some other job. time to end this outrageous protection of government workers. They should be fired for incompetence just as workers are subject to in the private sector.
Now that the White house has peppered the news media with a few hand-picked internal e-mails after so long...I want to see them ALL !!! Also, very convienent with the breaking IRS news right after the release of the e-mails.
SHOW THEM ALL.... Thanks.
