Issa on Benghazi fight: Obama couldn't be more inaccurate
House Oversight Chairman Rep. Darrell Issa reacts to Pres. Obama's comments about the Benghazi talking points outrage, saying that he "couldn't be more inaccurate." (Video)
Rep. Issa also discusses the alleged IRS political targeting of conservative groups, telling CNN's Wolf Blitzer that "it can't happen again."
On the news from the Associated Press that the Justice Department subpoenaed their phone records, Issa calls it disturbing. "They had an obligation to look for every other way to get it before they in fact intruded on the freedom of the press," he says.

When will some reporter ask Jay Carney to provide the "tick tock" of what Pres. Obama was doing on the night of 9/11/12? It"s funny that we haven't seen any photos of him huddled with is advisors, as he likes to send that type of photo around when he wants to take credit for something. Where was he during the attack and what exactly was he doing? Was getting ready for yet another fundraiser in Vegas taking priority over a terror attack in Libya?
Issa and committee, masquerading as a non-partisan committee, are nothing but Tea Party hatchet men whose only aim is to try to derail Hilary Clinton with extreme conspiracy theories. Everything that happens turns into a secret Communist, Socialist, Muslim-loving plot by Obama, whose hand is directly guiding all of it. 56% of Americans are not paying any attention to Benghazi because there is no evidence to support such ridiculous claims. meanwhile, Karl Rove is not in prison for wxposing Valerie Plame as a CIA agent, which is treasonous. The military has clearly said there were no real possibilities of reinforcement or aircraft for Benghazi. As far as the IRS, the audit was localized and a procedural change by lower level workers to do exactly what they are hired for: to investigate if there illegal claims of tax exempt status. It may not be a politically correct search method, but there is nothing illegal about doing their job. That's exactly the argument Issa gives about his right-wing partisan committee, who are also government employees, and only target Democrats. Lying becomes truth if you are on the opposite political spectrum.
I keep hearing about these 4 State Dept. officials who "lost their jobs" over Benghazi. From what I have heard, though, these people are still working for the government. They did not lose their jobs with Uncle Sam. they have simply been re-assigned to other jobs. That is not much of a punishment for poor job conduct.
