Obamba>>Let's use his brain. This would make his supporters and zombies shut up.
I am a woman who earned graduate degrees, Phi Beta Kappa undergrad, writer, speaker, speech therapist and executive in the not-for-profit sector, raising millions for important institutions. I am Mother to three professionals and loving grandmother.
Suddenly I noticed minor changes in speech. No medical causes could be found.
After five years and progressive symptoms I was diagnosed hesitantly with a neurological illness. No cause, no etiology, no understanding, no treatment, no cure. Now I have lost speech, swallowing is difficult, mouth and lips disabled, one hand and arm affected.
I am lucky. I am mobile with memory and intellect intact. Computer skills provide a lifeline.
NIH uses my devastating symptoms to develop statistics for future study. Some day answers will be found.
The funding for brain research is critical. The USA is not alone in this effort. Important research around the world assures eventual answers and cures.
We can do it.
Esther, I'm with you 100%.
100 million for Brain Research, That sounds like a bargain to me. They might find a cure for many problems dealing with brains. One would hope they could find a cure for the brainwashing FOX news syndrome. It seems to primarily strike the weaker minded. May I also add, the 100 million would be a drop in the bucket compared to the 9 billion that apparently just vanished under the watchful eye of the Bush2 Administration. Just a reminder for those weaker minded individuals 1 billion is a 1000million. To further elaborate the point, just imagine 2,000 ; 500,000.00 dollar homes going up and being built. All the jobs and what a town, then multiply that thought by 9 and you'll will start to get an idea of how much the Bush Administration ripped the American Tax Payer off. What is sadder yet the 9 billion that walked off , is merely a drop in the bucket , compared to the 5 trillion surplus Bush spent and another 9 trillion to boot whilst he was in office. Again for the weaker minded, it takes 1000 Billion to make 1Trillion. I hope I have made my point about 100million for brain research. At least we are going to get some Brain Research for our money, where as, we got nothing good at all from the Bush Administration for his 13 trillion dollar spending spree. The Oil companies got something though, gas went from a dollar a gallon to over four dollars a gallon, because Bush got rid of the guy willing to sell Oil for 20 dollars a barrel(Saddam). I may have also found the cure for the the FOX News Syndrome and could it be Common Sense ? I humbly offer my comments free of charge, but Mr President 100 grand for Old Mycroft could really help. Heck for a million, I'd work diligently to find the lost 9 Billion, the Bush 2 Administration ripped off US. How we doing with getting rid of Scooter Libby Justice, any progress yet ? How about a report ?
