Lawmakers say meeting Susan Rice didn't ease concerns over the handling of the Benghazi attack. CNN's Dana Bash reports.
RELATED STORY: Accomplished and determined, Susan Rice at center of political storm
Blah, Blah, blah, blah................
Our ally and friend Isreal needs more than lip service Hammas are cowards using their children as shields; we all know this. The United States needs to send a strong message to cease and disist a last warning or else, we all know where all this is going. Iran is already resupplying weapons to the Gaza Strip.
Also our law makers and all in charge ought to point their high powered perception on their selves. What a joke! Leave Mrs. Rice alone!!
Rice can make an error in a fast moving fluid situation but George Bush can mislead an entire country for his own hawkish motives and send thousands of men to Iraq and many too their death. Why is there so much made of Rice's original comments; this was a terrible tragedy in an incredibly unstable country.
In the 2003 State of the Union address, George Bush relied on Cheney vetted information that was false about Iraq pursing WMD. The forged data had been discredited, but was pursued to protect Bush for his prosecution of the war in Iraq that has cost more than 4400 US soldier lives and almost a trillion dollars.Mr Bush spoke from talking points, whether he knew they were false or not. Susan Rice relied on talking points and is being unfairly villified by Republicans who have convenienty forgotten WMD, Bush and Cheney. Shame on them.
Don't Republicans have better things to do with their time rather than do Witch Hunts. They did Timothy Geitner, Eric Holder, and now Rice.....whatever they can seem to drum up at the time and then after person has been cleared like Holder they give no apologies but just move on like nothing happened. It's selective outrage; they did nothing when Condeleeza, Colin Powell, Cheney, Bush all lied to America and killed thousands of Americans in an Iraq war which should not have happened. Republicans were not mad at that. The government and Rice did nothing wrong but try to be on top of the Bengazi story and information normally evolves. And I recall the media covering people protesting outside who was not alqueda. Republicans need to be focusing on the economy, fiscal cliff, health care which would make them look a lot better in the eyes of Americans.
Eric you actually thought the Republicans would eat their words? Don't be naive – they prejudged her and that is the only story here
