Definitely endangering state security.
It’s a bit disconcerting to hear commentators talk about how the FBI ruined Petraeus’ career. GEN Petraeus is a self admitted cheat and liar and he alone is responsible for his demise. He betrayed his wife, his most trusted confidant, and thus should not be given anyone else’s trust. He is doing the right thing by resigning, and in the words of McArthur, he should just fade away.
