The Romney campaign admitted buying groceries from Wal-Mart (the amount was reported at $5000 although the Romney camp will not say how much) just in case there weren't enough donations. People who did not have donations were told to "grab something" from their stash and then stand in line to hand them to Romney. Didn't want to believe that until I did some research. I have to say, that is really sad. It shows how out of touch he is. First of all, the Red Cross does NOT want those kinds of donations. It takes time, money and personnel to sort, bag, etc. Their website clearly states that. Why do his campaign people not know that? Of course, writing a check is not as flashy a photo-op. Very sad and manipulative and dishonest.

Buzzfeed uncovered the fact that Romeny's camp actually went to Walmart the night before and spent $5,000 on supplies for the rally. They told folks attending the rally without goods-in-hand to pick up something before getting into line and then handing the (previously purchased) goods to Romney.

Romney believes that the American public are just uneducated and able to fall for his political lies and stunts. Think how much worse this disaster would be under a Romney Administration who wished to privatize FEMA. He sees dollars and cents, not people. On November 6th, we American will send him packing back to Utah, for good.

Finally, I am really disappointed in Anne Romney. I used to feel sorry for her, but now I as well as others see that she lacks class and is an opportunist full of the "entitlement theory" which means that she and her rich friends deserve everything and those less fortunate deserve nothing.

I thank President Obama and Gov Christ Christie for putting politics aside in the face of tragedy!

Buzzfeed discovered that Romney's camp actually purchased $5,000 on supplies the night before and actually told folks attending the rally to pick up something before getting in line to greet Romney. Does he think that people are not aware of his dirty tactics?

Consider how much worse this disaster would have been under a Romney administration where FEMA are in need of extinction and State would have to privatize emergency response. It would be a nightmare! Romney is desperate and uncaring about anyone who is not rich.

I heard a report that Mitt and purchased $5,000 in food that day to insure there was a pile for photo opportunities. Besides, how is that food is going to help in flooded areas? Maybe folks can microwave the food that Mitt airlifts to them. ** Send cash to the Red Cross! They know what to do.

I live 40 miles from where Romney "staged" this event. The romney campaign spent $5000. at WALMART and even handed groceries to those people who brought none – a promo that ran during the GOP convention was played before his handlers could cut it off... the entire event was STAGED – just about as bad as when Ryan washed the clean dishes at the homeless shelter – this is a pathetic attempt to look like he was ACTUALLY doing something – ALL of it staged

After politicizing the Libyan tragedy for political gain, Romney is now focusing his attention on Sandy. Well, you could start by criticizing and accusing President Obama of not declaring the tri-state area a desaster soon enough and failing to get FEMA to rush to the aid of the 47% affected by the flood, that is the 47% you care about so darely. But you better not mess with Governor Christie. Well, he might be your friend and a supporter of your presidential bid but when a reporter asked him earlier this morning if Governor Romney is coming to tour New Jersey, this is what your friend Governor Christie said..."frankly I really don't care. This state is all that I'm concerned about right now and I don't give a damn about politics right now" Translation??? Well, after politicizing the Benghazi tragedy for political gain, I'd rather Governor Romney stay out of my state period. Ummmmm! I wonder who's name Governor Christie is goanna punch on election day???

The interview of Gov. Christie on Fox News was even better. When asked (after he praised the President's handling of the NJ situation) was he aware that Romney might come to NJ to survey the damage, Gov. Christie said (and I quote)

"I have no idea, nor am I the least bit concerned or interested." Chris Christie

You can see it on YouTube under 'Chris Christie PRAISES Obama on FOX NEWS'. I had a good laugh at that one.
