Why haven't the Romney boys not going into the military? Because it's a volenteer military and not like Vietnam when we had a draft. I didn't want to go to Vietnam but I did because I was drafted. I love this country and I said, ok it's time to serve. How many people do you think say, "oh boy I want to go to fight in a war?" Come on people, use the matter between your ears. Yes, I do think we should have a military like Switzerland where everyone has to serve at least two years.
A more important question is why didn't Wolf and Pierce stand during our National Athem during the GOP convention? I can understand Pierce since he's British but no excuse for Wolf. They weren't even on the air or working at the time. I believe I'll give both of them the MUTE and SMASH button on a permanent basis.
Wolf, the "Smash mute" while being a start, doesn't quite go far enough. What we need is a "Slap hand" to come out of no where and slap the lying culprit out of his/her chair.
WHEN is anyone going to ask the Romney sons why not one of them has served in our military, despite the fact that they were almost certainly hawkish on the various middle-eastern wars, especially that totally errant Iraq war? Their dad was a chickenhawk on Viet Nam, and did they follow in his footsteps?
Romney's sons are irrelelvant. They might be pleasant guys, but they have obviously been sheltered, protected, and spoiled. They were not cut-out for military. I seriously doubt that any of them has ever been in a fist-fight. The streets that most of us know would eat them alive. Men who have grown accustomed to such a soft life-style are not fit to be leaders. Where would they lead you? How could they lead you through what an ordinary man goes through when they have never done anything? They don't know the landscape, nor the territory that goes with it.
"They knew the rules before the GOP started their run, why the Party Poopers now?? The want a win win situation even thought they lost!"
I tried that but after i clicked MUTE button the batteries quit working on my remote and because of the economy i can not afford to buy any more. So from now on all I get is to read lips which I am not very good at. I bet that Wolf did not say the things I think he said either. The moral of the story is be careful what you wish for you might just get it. Permanently. That goes for politicians too.
Smash Mute is a great idea! I had already solved the attack ad problem with my Hoppers Auto Hop and now Smash Mute can help control what I hear during shows too. I work long and late hours at DISH and the last thing I want to do is sit through commercials when I get home, especially political ads. With Auto Hop I can choose to skip the commercials in my Primetime recordings and never be bothered by an attack ad again. I’ll keep an eye out for the Smash Mute; I know there are debates coming.
wolf Blitzer, as a serious news anchor, how can you stand there and let paul , whatever his name is, state that mitt romney pay his fair share of taxes? You should correct him and let him know that he should be stating that the government doesn' make mitt romney pay what( paul), thinks is his fair share of taxes. paul tries to make it appear that mitt is breaking some sort of law, and mitt isn', while you don't correct him....
As far as mitt making the birth certificate joke about his and his wife having been born in michigan, why the big horrified shock from everyone? with all the stuff obamas campaign has been laying on mitt, and everyone gets shook up over that? please, don't be so obvious...
I can not stand the advertising, politico ads so I go to mute,I spend more time in mute.
