Its like you read my mind! You appear to know so much about this,
like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with a
few pics to drive the message home a little bit,
but other than that, this is great blog. A great read.
I will definitely be back.

Rep Atkin's words, ignorance and orientation are shocking. That he can be elected to public office is both frightening and a testament to the diversity of this great country of ours. At this time of extreme partisanship he should be applauded for standing his ground. His fate is exactly where it should be. With the voters of his district. The message here is register, get informed and vote.
Do yu realize that concerning Akin it is a trap from the Republican...by telling Akin to leave ...this will give more attention to Akin and people will have pity and vote for him....Democrats do not get caught in that trap..Republican will do anything to win the senate...come on people be smart and vote Democrats...
Wolf how come you have talk for 1week almost 2 weeks about Romney and Ryan what about the Democrat which week would it be Democrat turn ...................Mr. Fox
It is not uncommon for a party to run from it's goofy members especially in an election year. Generally they will take care of the problem by shunning them and cutting the members funds and future out from underneath them.
Keep in mind though, Bill Clinton got caught with Monica Lewinski and was impeached he still was re-elected to a second term. In the world of politics being indecent or committing adultery or just being goofy is not necessarily a death sentence for a politician. Often times it makes them even more popular.
He should run. He s[poke from his heart, but fumbled a word or two and is only being pressured from the GOP bosses. I think the state he represents should make the decision for him to drop from the race. The United States of America, is for the people, by the people and not the GOP bosses.
First of all I think this character should step down. But for a party that belives it is okay to abort a baby not fetus within minutes of birth and if the fetus survives BAM YOUR DEAD is a little sad. Yes I am assuming the whole party believes like thePresident and the way he voted in Illinois. What I think is worse than this whole thing is commentators making things up and the biggest offender is Bob Beckel from Fox News. I watch all media including C-Span. People trying to connect Paul Ryan to this are grasping at straws. Here is an example of how commentators lie. Let`s use Beckel since he is the biggest offender. Here is something he would say. I know Bob is pro-choice except in cases of rape or insest. Knowing his daughter feels the same way it makes you wonder about his close relationship with David Brock. What I just said is wrong but Fox lets him get by with this junk and promotes four letter words as long as you pay $20.00. I feel Aikin should be booted out of politics but people like Beckel should be booted out of the media. Worst part I am a Fox news viewer but now at five I will be watching Wolf.
Interesting-Not once have I heard any republican state that Mr. Akin should step down because of his disgusting comments regarding women and rape and only that reason. Their ONLY reason has been that his staying in would hurt the republican party in the elections. Equally disgusting..
I think finally we have a face of the GOP telling women they do not need Obama care, this how they think of women being rape and medical problems the GOP is try to save a buck a the cost of women!
Todd Akin should abort now. (even though I believe obama and his other "volunteers" paid him to speak such ignorance, so CNN could take the news off the real issues).
He says he used the wrong words. Would someone please ask him what he "meant" to say?
Why should he? He just said out loud what I suspect the majority of these radical right-wing males in the republican party truely think. If you've been listening, they want him out not so much about what Rep. Akin's views concerning rape are, but with him gone they think they have a better chance of winning the senate seat from Missouri. Once again, the republicans will say and do anything to win this election no matter what. Not a believe system in the whole lot of them. As for Mr. Akins. It seems he thinks we females have this built in vaccum system that while being raped, it swoops down from our ovaries into the uterus, shoots out the hose attachment which in turn clamps down around the cervix and commences to suck up all the rapist's sperm thereby preventing pregnancy. Or maybe there are rapists out there who are considerate enough to only rape women who are more than 5 days away from ovulation. Believe it or not , I actually heard this on conservative talk radio while driving down the road this afternoon!!! I very nearly ran off the road while screaming at the dashboard.. Once again I am sickened by this republican party of today.
You are missing the point. It is not should he get out or not. Neither is the point whether he misspoke saying legitimate when he meant forcible.rape. The point needs to be that if he in fact knows how "the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down" why does he not tell the women of the world how to activate the "attention eggs – run like hell!!!!" Now!!! Abort whatever you are doing and RUN RUN RUN!!!
Todd Akin won the Missouri Republican Primary and should stay in the race. It is not incumbent upon the Republican National Committee to subvert the will of the Missouri electorate. He should run as the duly elected representative of the Republican Party in the state of Missouri.
If Akin resigns, Pauly Ryan should not be VP. Get some new ideas at the Internet Free Press.
stop wasting the worlds time with clearly a misunderstood statement all rapes are not legitamate, some use it jus for the excuse to get an abortion, some fantasize bout it,and sensitivity! please this coming from a country that has the death penalty in most states, killed bloodlines,& after 500 years racism still exist. GROW UP AMERICA!!! so ashamed to be associated with idiots!
Actually I think he should stay in. He gives a face to the Republican stance on women's issues!
