Wolf Blitzer delivers the most important breaking news and political, international, and national security stories of the day. Tune to The Situation Room weekdays 5-7pm ET on CNN.
CNN's Wolf Blitzer questions former presidential candidate Newt Gingrich about the call for a probe of aide Huma Abedin.
The interview cut off before Gingrich had a chance to fully rebut. How convenient. I'll try the Anderson Cooper interview that the Lucien mentioned.
I was surprised Mr. Spitzer let this specious comment about Communists go by. The biggest number I could find of actual Communists uncovered was 9. That's not really "many many" compared to the hundreds who had their lives ruined. He should have asked for actual facts before accepting this assertion. Does CNN really have no fact checkers that could not have found this out while they were talking? Does not Mr.Spitzer have an assistant who could do this? Why would Mr. Spitzer allow Mr. Gingrich to make such an out and out exaggeration? Such sloppy journalism is Not Up to Standards. It was embaressing to watch Mr. Spitzer not be able to refute or call Mr. Gingrich on his "facts" I would have thought Mr. Spitzer would do better than this.
CNN – please make FULL INTERVIEWS easier to find. I'd like to hear the rest of that discussion – from beginning to end – but I cannot find it anywhere. Where is it? You're search engine certainly can't find it; google can't find it. And this isn't the first time I've been frustrated trying to view a full interview..
Newt Gingrich was kick of congress for misconduct, now he stand in judgement!
This man gave two interviews on the same day, the first one to the Situation Room [Wolf Blitzer], and the second to Anderson Cooper [AC 360]. I watched both interviews, and it's been funny to see how he seemed uneasy accross the table from Wolf, almost apologetic, saying that he was not an enemy of President Obama, but only his opponent, whereas he regained his natural arrogance, telling Anderson that if he were the one addressing te president, he would be tougher than anyone else...
