Are you kidding me? CNN is blaming NIH for this massacre? Or Colorado University? This is a most outlandish, slanderous, despicable and outrageous insinuation. How low will CNN sink to stop its' ratings decline?

Fortunately I never watch CNN anymore and haven't for years (who does?) but I saw this at the gym and almost choked. You have now vaulted over Jaws, CNN. Ted Turner must be disgusted with his creation. I am.

Is it possible for the media to stop using this monsters name. We know his name, unavoidably. He doesn't deserve to have his name and picture blasted all over the TV.

When will it be to much for the public to take action against salt weapons with 100 rounds magazine and 40 round pistol magazines. Holmes wake into the a theater with well over 180 rounds plus extras magazines with a salt weapons ready to go hunting for Innocent human beings, the NRA should give Holmes a giant trophy for most kill in one night.

Colorado is a Concealed Carry State but the movie theater had a no weapons sign of the front door (so I have been told) If just one person would have been carrying this whole story could be quite different. The shooter knew that his targets would be unarmed and he could do as he wishes. New York has some of the strictest gun laws in the nation. Hows that working out for them? Making the law abiding citizens give up their guns does nothing but make them easier targets to the thugs that don't care about laws anyway.

As an NIH-funded graduate student, I find this story completely misleading. The money awarded by the NIH goes to pay for a student's salary. That money is not extra, in fact it constitutes most of the money a graduate student makes in a year. I use my money to pay for things such as rent and food. The NIH has no say in what I do with my salary nor should they. Moreover, CNN shouldn't suggest that the NIH or the University of Colorado had anything to do with the atrocity James Holmes committed. No one could have predicted what he did and suggesting the taxpayers funded the whole thing is simply poor taste.
