I don't think anyone with any brians is expecting it to be free. After all, I paid for my Medicaid with my taxes. But I'd be willing to bet that if I gave the government my current premium for a medicaid like program, I wouldn't have to pay $50 specialist copays and a $500 hospital deductible. There is a huge difference in cost when you reduce a 20% overhead to 3%.

End public unions...stop borrowing money...live within your means...not everyone needs to drive a Lexus or BMW...sorry!! How does it feel to live like the majority? I'm not so sad about this...its about time people had a pay cut...who's next? Hopefully doctors, lawyers, politicians, news anchors, the list goes on and on of overpaid people, athletes, movie stars, music celebrities, the American dream is for everybody, not just a select few. I can't wait to see who's next, what city will be next...This is great!

I am sorry for those workers since they risk their lives for us daily and with honor, however there are many families who work at min wage out there who do so in this horrible economy and are not broadcasted on the news for sympathy. They get up and work 2-4 part time jobs at min wage to put food on the table and pay their bills. Many have lost a place to stay or had to go with out the luxury of a tv, cell phone or access to the internet just to survive. When those families are considered news worthy that is when we start to rebuild.
