Blitzer on Obama's NAACP no-show

CNN's Wolf Blitzer says that President Obama should have attended this year's NAACP convention in Houston and "should not take the African-American vote for granted." Blitzer praised Mitt Romney for attending, saying "it was the smart political move."

President Barack Obama's re-election campaign insisted a "scheduling conflict" is behind the president's decision to skip the convention. Vice President Biden delivered the conference's keynote address Thursday. The president, however, did make a brief appearance in a taped video that ran before the vice president's speech.
