I was disappointed by the comments made today (October 24) during the segment "Unsolicited Advice" regarding undecided voters. The panel was disrespectful of those voters who are still monitoring the candidates positions, reactions, and behaviors to determine their votes. I found the segment unworthy of time on CNN.
There are many people in America that don't realize that Bush/Cheney/ Rumsfeld,Rice,republicans are responsible for 94% of the national debt. Bush came into office with a 6 Trillion surplus which should have been used to pay off the debt.from policies such as Star Wars, Kuwait wars,etc.,which republicans never paid for. Bush then started and invaded two countries that was pure stupidity.these wars along with doubling the defense dept. budget and tax cuts cost an additional 5 trillion. For a grand total of 11trillion. bush also left a legacy of 1trillipn debt per year due to tax cots, interest fees, wars, pill plans in a spending spree that may never be able to be duplicated in world history. This total turns out to be approximately 15 trillion of our 16 trillion debt or 94%.its very obvious that the airhead Bolton is responsible for Romney's new war plans that coincide with Bomb-Bomb McCains's strategic outlook. God help us!
I agree with the principles of John's reply. If Americans had to pay for the wars we possibly would have been gone way before-good. But Johnson did the same in Viet Nam. And it takes two to tango-Congress. They covered up a lot like robbing Social Security fund and approving war funds. I do take issue with "Bomb-bomb" as the handle for McCain. He is a true hero. Mary M. Needs to remember that the rest of us in this country pay taxes that are funneled to LA in a much greater proportion than what all the people in LA contribute to the rest of us. Hey Wolf, The most heard comment about the debate is Obama just wasn't there. Why has the media not considered the fact that Turkey just bombed Syria. Or any other huge emergancy having taken place just prior to Obama having to take the stage. A poor analagy is you just found out your wife is sleeping with your best friend. Your mind is taken over

A rival station, MSNBC, had President Carter's Secretary Of State, Zbigniew Brzezinski on this morning. He gave insight as to what is going on in the Middle East. The perspective he gave was said in simple to understand language, made so much sense, the 6 veteran reporters there were riveted to every word he said. As was I. You should have him on or John King. If you have access you should see it yourself.
I saw him too and he was great on the Libya topic. Maybe you should see if Burnett could have him on her show.
I would ask Mrs. Pelosi, how she thinks Mortgage Backed Securties are working out for the public, and the Country as a whole.
I know Candy doesn`t consider herself a journalist but Wolf you do so why will you not ask the question that Axlerod brought up on Sunday? How do you know we now have net positive jobs when the only way you could possibly know is if you have prior knowledge of Friday`s job report? The answer to this question will also answer where the security leaks have come from and give more credit to my statement that those leaks came from Axlerod and Brennan. Also when Gibbs says on a Sunday show that he no longer has a security clearance and doesn`t get that info but yet comments on that is also a giveaway. I had been a regular viewer of Situation Room- one of my favorite program . I think you need to go to the school bench once again! Lately, it appears to me you and eminent CNN Situation room had been bit puzzled, confused and seems to me favoring “Mitt the Blunder”. Are you under pressure from the CNN owners? Is Situation Room impartiality is under the pocket of some one else? I firmly and impartially believe Obama the democrat need a second chance to fulfil the task. Among two presidential candidates in comparison, one has a clear choice! Mitt real face appeared in among many maths two simple on to be mentioned here 1) Mother Jones in his 47 % comments 2) Why you cannot open the windows in a plane while landing!! On 9/29/12, you had Micheal Gordon on, and almost everytime he tried to speak, you interrupted him. I could tell from his countenance that he was becoming exasperated. i see cnn's wolf is a blitzn about the attack on the consulate. Is this wolf's attempt to imitate the replacement NFL refs by throwing out a flag (for commercial success, i'm sure!) and missing the call? CNN and other news organizations would beat doors down to get a comment on the attack, then after receiving their goods(which was preliminary) you come out swinging that people mislead you, questioning if it was intentional!! My question for you wolf. Is this reporting for the sole purpose of tightening up a political race, to keep it interesting until the final seconds? Would news organizations slant their reporting to accomplish something like this?

Despite your complaint to the contrary, Fox HAS discussed its own poll results. I have heard them. Wherea are your fact-checkers? The only poll Fox touts and trusts is the Rasmussen poll which was most accurate in 2008. Fox isn't being inconsistent but you are demonstrating the partisanship which disappoints your longtime viewers.

You know, Will...having read your several comments on this site, I am inclined to opine that you well and accurately represent Wolf's emerging audience. And he is losing those of us who eschew logical fallacies.
Everyone has commented on why Pres. Obama didn't meet with heads of the Middle East. Looking at Romney's history with Netanyahu, I'm sure there is good reason. I am surprised that no one has hit on this. The relationship between Romney and Netanyahu goes back to the 70's and they have a very good relationship. Netanyahu has even went as far as to " campaign " for Romney. Why on earth would we give Romney more fuel to use against Obama?? I'm sure there may even be security reasons that we are not priveleged to but I trust the President to know what he is doing.
Education: Did it ever occur to newsfolks that teaching "Johnny" how to multiply 2×2 does not mean that he'll do it on the test! Typical students, 2012: some are great and try their best on the test; some ADHD students have a difficult time and after a couple of pages, they've had enough, especially if the test is above their level, they can become terrribly discouraged ; some students are extremely competitive and want to see who gets done first; some kids have parents whose priority is not their child nor is it education; some ESL children are forced to take the exam in English before their English language skills are competent; some students are just trying to survive their circumstances,the score they receive has very little meaning. A few students even refuse to take the test, sitting for 2 1/2 hours for 3-5 days staring at test and pencil in front of them. I care very much about my students, jr high, with hormones raging. I want to see them learn and succeed. I am available to them before and after school. I want them to learn, but I can't make them, and I can't make them show me what they've learned on a state test unless they choose to show me. I will not allow someone to say that the test scores totally reflect my teaching. Teaching is a business filled with numbers of test scores in 2012. My students are not numbers and percentiles, so after 35 years, I'm calling it quits.

I expect you to take a deeper look at things especially when have shown that you have at your CENTER, fairness; I think that you have missed something when it comes to WHY President Oboma did not meet with leaders at the U.N. . Here is the REAL issue; WHAT COULD HE REALLY ACCOMPLISH WITH THE TIME GIVEN? Other than a good PHOTO OP, do we honestly believe that he could have made any SERIOUS progress by a few minutes/hours meeting with other world leaders at the U.N. instead of a PLANNED meeting with each leader, one on one, with a paticular goal in mind? This evening marks the second time in very recent days that I have noticed your sharp toned reaction, gesture and negative body langauge when a guest offers their critical views of President Obama.
Perhaps you should recall Bernard Shaw's concern that today's journalism interjects too much personal opinions. I hope that you get back to reporting the news and not engage your guest in a way that may be perceived as your personal bias and opinions by your faithful audience.

With all the comments about Romney's charitable donations, why is no one stating that temple card carrying mormons HAVE to give the church one tenth of their annual income. If you minus that from his donations he does not appear to be that generous and if you follow his income it appears he has short changed the mormon church. Charitable donations are acts of kindness NOT COMMANDMENTS FROM A CHURCH. Why is no one asking that or doing the basic math.
Well, Annie, it may be that most decent people would feel very small criticizing someone who gives four million dollars, or 29% of their annual income, to charity. And, yes, just like any other church, the Morman Church is a nonprofit institution. You really want to quibble with who got what?
The Mormon church is "non profit" but hey own businesses and shopping malls and do not pay taxes because they are a CHURCH. So where does all the profit go???

Like many people over the last couple of years, I have moved back to CNN for real news without bias of the other cable outlets. I especially think that you personally are one of the most professional hard-news sources in your field. Lately, however, I percieve a sense of that "lean" by CNN and you towards President Obama. In particular, the purported "gaffs" of Gov. Romney over the last 2 weeks have highlighted this for me. I honestly think there is a very obvious, real and important debate that could be had concerning President Obamas foreign policy, and past attitudes towards Islamic relations, and the recent widespread violence and unrest in that area with much of same specifically aimed at the US. Literally, the world burns in that area and no one at CNN seems to have any real intellectual inquiry into the President's views, responsibilities, etc. The failure of security alone would normally be a major issue to investigate against an administration. His poor spokesman had the audacity this week to continue to say that it was only about a film trailer and was in no way intended towards the US. To me, these are major, once-in-a-lifetime events unfolding and CNN seems to have no honest exploration of the administration's role before or even during the events. The secret tape situation is not as apparent, but, still seems odd to me. Though Romney's comments are worthy of reporting, especially as may refelct on his economic views, the reporting seems to completely discount some of the real issues related to who does and does not pay taxes in this country and who does and does not consume benefits. And yes, that discussion could easily involve observations of similarities to other countries and the position they find themselves in today. Again, this country's economic condition is in historical shambles, and CNN seems to have little interest in reporting on same, only Romney's inarticulate comments about it. Have you gone back and watched replays of your network's coverage and your own over the last 2 weeks? Have you watched Sunday night's performance by Don Lemon calling Romney a "liar"?. As you can surmise, I will probably be voting for Gov. Romney. But for the record, I am a registered Demcraft who has supported both Dems and Reps actively in the past.

that's funny,Iv,e thought that CNNhas been decidedly favoring the right. you have to realize that Romney leaves a lot to be desired as a human being. it's obvious to me that CNN constantly has panels and guests on that favor the right. this is the area that must be corrected. Why aren’t you focusing on the Congressional races? Pundits and media outlets continue to give the impression that the Presidential race is where our attention should be focused – to the exclusion of everything else.
This is a mistake. The entire House of Representatives and 30 plus Senators are up for re-election. This is where our attention should be focused. Congress determines the government’s budget, passes the laws and determine the sources of government revenue. News flash Congress runs the government and is very effective at behaving has though they have no control over anything that the government does. (i.e. Congress members claim the government spends to much money – yet they are the ones that decide what and how the government’s money is spent).

Following controversy over its purchase of around 1.2 billion bullets in the last six months alone, the Department of Homeland Security has put out a new solicitation for over 200 million more rounds of ammunition, some of which are designated to be used by snipers.

The Obama administration was warned three days before the Embassy attack in Libya and ignored it. The Middle East erupting right now is because of a drone strike that killed an Al Queda leader ... the video just added fuel to the fire and made it spread.

This film that is purported to have started the Cairo riots...........why am not hearing that this would not have happened if

When Isaac was bearing towards the Gulf coast, Wolf was very concerned that the Republicans in continuing with their convention would show such little sensitivity to poeple in the storm's path. Wolf interviewed several top Republicans asking whether they should continue with the convention when the country was in a crisis. Now, with the country in a crisis with the terror events happening in the Middle East, I have not heard Wolf chastise the President for his hitting the campaign trail hard as well as making time for the talk shows, etc. So what is up Wolf? Where is the President's leadership? I would think I would turn on any station and see the President hunkered down someplace with his key advisors focusing on this ongoing crisis. Nope – no President and no quesitoning from the media. In fact, the media has been more concerned with what Romney said that what the President said or is doing. God help us if we ever get in a major – have to act right now -. crisis with this administration. The upcoming election cannot come soon enough!
If you haven't noticed, the president was at the airport receiving the dead and honoring them today along with Hilary.the concern is that Romney and Ryan are such loose cannons.neither is capable or honest enough to be president.
First, your comment has no relevance to my comment. Secondly, please detail the times in Romney's and Ryan's careers that they have acted as loose cannons. President Obama is a very good candidate but not a good president. He has consistenly shown that he is much more comfortable being out of the oval office than in it. Romney sees the presidency as a job whereas President Obama likens it more to simply being a figurehead.

The top two polling companies that were the most accurate in 2008 were Rasmussen and Pew!

I find it hard to believe that you would report the reason for the riots/attacks in Middle East is because of the Anti-Muslim movie. CNN fails to address an endemic issue of persistently interrupting guests of great stature without letting them finish a simple thought. Ambassador Bremer, who I served with in Iraq, has the stature of a true hero...he is a qualified expert in successful diplomacy...he has fair criticisms of weaknesses in the current US Foreign policy... and Wolf constantly destroyed his coherent, logical path to give your viewership a great understanding of American policy weaknesses that are now becoming vital historic points. By failing to show guests the respect they deserve, Wolf is failing your viewership without regard to any semblance of critical thinking except for his opinion.
I, like many veterans, who took risks during my service in the Middle East see that we are walking away from the supreme sacrifices of my colleagues in this region. We see the US apologizing about the path the US took to prevent further attacks following September 11 attacks, and now for some reason, CNN will not allow its viewers to hear logical arguments why a weak presence in the region during this critical time is failing. "UAV wars" do not provide the security on the ground that our Diplomatic Corps needs to accomplish it's mission within acceptable risks. If the American people don't analyze the current threats wisely, the Arab Spring will continue down a path that we can ill afford. Viewers should voice your opinions to give Ambassador Bremer another chance, recognize the incredible success of his diplomacy in Iraq along with General Petraeus, and force a more balanced approach or this country and our investment in the region may all be for naught.
If history is repeating itself, bad foreign policy decisions can result in devastating consequences, way beyond the sacrifices our soldiers, sailors, airmen and diplomats in the Middle East since 2003. Bad US policy decisions such as appeasement and weak alliances, have led to our country's largest wars. Ambassador Bremer recognizes this and was only pointing out the current risks we are taking.

A Dan Senor harangue about Romney, a democratic congressman who can't get a word in edgewise because Dan is screaming over him, Wolf in the middle sporting 'a deer in the headlights' look, and CNN security 'expert' Ms Townsend who had nothing of value to add. She gave no background information about terror groups in Libya or any sort of explanation about the attacks and finally Wolf signed off from the segment by asking Dan Senor and the the Democratic congressman to come back to discuss among other things, why the White House is not giving Big Mouth Bibi an appointment!
I wanted to know how and why our State department officials were murdered and Wolf wanted to know why Bibi was shut out of the White House. We don't need an explanation as to why Bibi should be frozen out. His undiplomatic and insulting actions against his closest ally, is self explanatory!
What I found out subsequently on another channel, was that a Libyan terror group has not been definitively linked to the crime, but there is a group with Al Quaida connections in Libya. There was background info given about an AL Quaida leader,who was a Libyan, being taken out by a drone. That connection coupled with the attack on 9/11, leaves me to draw conclusions. There was a non political security expert on the same channel who summed things up beautifully.

arj, I think your statement is sipmly far too generalized. If what you say is true, then I, as a liberal who supports another candidate, will attack Romney's LDS belief as it is an easy target. To the contrary, Romney's religion is one of the few things I see in his favor. For starters, out of all the candidates, he's the least likely to be caught in a sex scandal (which is not to say that the other candidates are likely to be involved in such things, mind you). In fact, as I think about it, it's more Romney's failure to believe and follow his religion, that I would attack him on. Mormonism teaches that the U.S. Constitution is inspired, yet Romney seeks to violate it by restricting the civil rights of those who don't follow his code of sexual/relationship ethics. Mormonism teaches plural marriage, whether in this life or the next, while Romney can't imagine anything more awful. Romney has publicly denied and/or refuted a number of long-standing teachings within Mormonism. Further, Mormonism teaches honesty with one's fellow beings, while Romney has been caught in a number of outright falsehoods of late. Romney would frankly be a far better candidate, in my mind, if he actually believed in and lived Mormonism.

I'd like to know why the television media doesn't ever mention that almost two thirds of GM jobs are out-sourced to other countries and they are also working on being up and running in Russia by 2015. GM is also spending Billions to update the GM plants in Brazil.
To my knowledge, GM is also adding jobs here and quite a few.m I don't think we should have problems with overseas manufacturing as long as there are sales over there and they don't take advantage of tax allowances to unjustly reduce their U.S. income taxes. For example ,they must repost all profits to claim eenses. GM,evidently sells more cars in China than they do here, I don't believe they import them back here. gM has been manufacturing in Europe (Opel ) for decades.

I don't read Forbes because they totally salivate at not paying any taxes due to Forbes flat tax (20%) for us and 0 capital gains for them. Remember, the Bush administration bailed out the banks and their bonuses and gave $162 billion to AIG that also sent much of it overseas. These people at Forbes ,WSJ , etc. are the only ones that made money during the first Busb stock market crash and the second stock market crash that led to this depression.

Since myself; my father and other family and friends worked in the auto industry; some at GM; others at Ford, we have a pretty good idea of what it feels like to have your factory shut down and your jobs shipped out of the country. The auto industry used to manufacture most of the components needed to build their vehicles here. Gradually US plants are shut down and they move those operations to foreign countries where they can pay cheap labor. Then you bring the parts back to the US and assemble the vehicles. American asssembled , not American made. They all do it; but we didn't throw as much money at the others.
Well evidently there is still millions of parts jobs still here. The majur parts plants are independently owned. The laws favoring outsourcing jobs must be changed but republicans and gig business are blocking changes.
Comparative advantage will always lie with low wage countries when it comes to assembly. Who would want to pay US union wages when you could pay the Mexicans to make, say the Ford Fiesta outside Toluca, and then import them? All unions eventually kill the hosts on which they are parasitic. Better to buy a Kia made in a non-union plant in the USA.
Of course, the General Court holds the most power in this state when it comes to taxoaitn. A governor from a party that holds only a small minority of seats in that legislative body cannot be held accountable for that body's excesses.I'm no friend of Romney, but to pin any blame on him or give him credit, for that matter for a generalization concerning tax rates, is specious, IMHO.

The thing you don't understand is that Israel cannot do it by themselves. It requires U.S. carriers and cruise missiles. Israel may have to fly over Turkey to get at Iran's mountain hole tomb. The Iranian's have submarines,mini-submarines, missile boats and short and mid-range rockets. Russia and China may have to respond as well. So what the Israelies want us to do is to bear the brunt of this problem. Turkey,by the way, is in NATO, so how are we to respond to both sides.

Please submit our question for review and consideration. Seniors need to receive a better return on their savings in order to financially survive. However, the interest rates on CD/IRA's have continued to fall – now below 1%. We realize that Social Security is not our only source of retirement income but we are no longer able to depend on the return of our savings to subsidize our income. Please advise why savings interest rates continue to fall. Could a higher rate be implemented for those over 65 without jeopardizing the improvement in the financial realm. Good News!!! A treatment has been found for the Romney-Ryan virus. The infected will need to be injected with several dosages daily of rational thought, logic and truth. Severe cases may need to receive hourly injections if also suffering from delusions of grandeur and/or delusions of persecution. Twenty minutes or so before the interview you had Tom foreman on who explained about the closing of the GM plant, occurring for the most part in December 2008 before Obama took office. When you had the chance, why did you not confront Paul Ryan? You let him get off without even confronting him. No longer a reporter, but a mouthpiece for the RNC?

Fort Pierce florida is on the EAST coast of florida south of daytona . That homeowner must live in a low lying area and flooded due to normal heavy summer rains . Don't think Issac reached that far.

I saw NPR's senior news coroseprndent Daniel Shore speaking at a televised symposium once. He remarked how TV has changed America and especially American politics. How politics is no longer about reality as much as it is about the perception of reality.He gave a few stories about politicians with frank speech and strong personalities such as Kruschev, and Nixon. The sort of politicians you just don't see anymore.Politics has been largely whitewashed in today's environment. Politicians, sports figures, church leaders All of them, when in front of a camera, will devote the entire interview to speaking without really saying anything.
On the 27th, after Romney stated why he didn't sign an abortion bill, your asked Donna Brazile if she believed him. She replied it was just a political flipflop. Why didn't you also ask her about President Obama's gay marriage flipflop? It would have been totally appropriate, and had been mentioned by Romney in the same interview.
Mr. Blitzer, I don't know who was feeding you the questions while you were on the air interviewing Mr. Davis but I believe you need to stop for a minute and study the question before you parrot it out. Attacking a man for his political choice simply on the basis of his race is quite honestly out of line. Hi Wolf, Could you possibly just have one day, one program, one interview, where the politicians respond without referencing the "other side"? Could we just once hear their complete response that represents their view?? We really want to hear! I get so tired of getting caught up in what one is saying, then, without completing practically one good paragraph, the little that they said gets "contrasted" with the other candidate's position! Can we sometimes do the contrasting for ourselves? I long for the day, the debate, that just fully gives us that side's "position". Leave it at that sometime!
Wolf, please ask Ms. Bondi or any other republican if a woman gets pregnant due to rape, and you (Bondi) say that you want an exception to allow for abortions in that situation. Why do you kill an innocent baby for being produced by rape, and not abort one that's not a product of rape? Neither baby had anything to do with either situation. Although rape is always a horrific experience, the baby is innocent & deserves a chance at life. The woman should carry it to term & if she doesn't want it (which is understandable), then she should give it up for adoption.

I can't help but wonder what LDS hope to gain by hianvg one of their fold in the White House. Do some of them hope that (Constitution be damned) he or she would enact their idea of deity's laws in the civil sphere?
