Mitt Romney visits a failed energy company to criticize the president. CNN's Jim Acosta reports.
Wolf you CNN should investigate Romney holding in Mexico, he dad was born in Casa Grande near Juarez Mexico, right across the border of El Paso TX. When you look at Juarez and Casa Grande they have well 200 American industrial Plants call maquiladoras, Romney and the Mormon church make million of dollars from this American industrial plants on thier land and building in Mexico, El Paso, TX dose not have one big American industrial plants THIS IS NOT FAIR TO THE AMERICAN UNEMPLOYED. This very Anti-American of Mitt Romney and Mormon church with his dual citizenship, If his dad was born Casa Crande Mexico this make Mitt Romney a Mexican American!
The next day after Romney was sounding off about Obamas Solyndra, a Massachusetts solar panel company that received a state grant while Romney was governor filed for bankruptcy. According to the Boston Herald, Romney personally awarded a $1.5 million renewable energy subsidy to Konarka Technologies, based in Lowell, a short time after he took office in 2003, the paper reported. That company filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection and laid off 85 workers.
That is not the only skeleton in Mitt’s past. Reuters reported that a Biotech firm shut down after receiving a Massachusetts-Backed loan. The news was in an article titled "As governor, Romney picked winners and losers of his own" published in Reuters.
There’s more. A $2.5 million state loan helped lure Rhode Island biotech firm Spherics Inc across the state line to Massachusetts in 2005. The company shut down three years later, laying off all of its employees and defaulting on $1.5 million of the loan, according to MassDevelopment, the state development authority.
There’s still more. Another solar firm received $2.5 Million from Massachusetts and later went bankrupt according to The Washington Post's Greg Sargent. He reported that while Evergreen Solar was highlighted in an anti-Obama attack ad, it actually received assistance from the state of Massachusetts during Romney's tenure. Evergreen filed for bankruptcy last year.
There are reports that more of these Solyndraesque stories about Romney are lurking out there. It seems Romney’s motto is “It’s ok if I do it, but if Obama does, he’s a failure and a crook.”
Romney is the failure and the crook. Just ask the good people of Massachusetts
If you go back and see Romney camping speeches, when he ran for governor, he is repeating word per word the same promise then and now. He was not to successful then. When your in the business of flipping business, is to cut jobs.
