House rejects sex-selection abortion ban
Anti-abortion forces team up to push legislation banning abortions based on the sex of the fetus. Dana Bash reports.

nitin – Well, if you care about physics, don't let andyoby's (especially Lubos's) attitude bother you. Fundamental physics does have a problem right now, though – the theory is too good but not good enough. So good that hardly anything (in particle physics) is unexplained, but so bad that nobody can calculate anything new that can be tested. But you already knew that, and maybe the LHC will give us some new hints – or the high resolution CMBR probes.
Reverence the womb, because it produced you. This means that all men and women should place the health, dignity, education, and respect of womanhood above life itself. Abortion and need for birth control is a side effect of the disregard of the importance of women. Men and women alike MUST cease living the idea that a female is an object for the purpose of servitude and procreation.
Motherhood is the first line of defense in the protection of humanity. As we developed in our mother's wombs, her thoughts, reactions and emotions, and voice were all that we knew, she was our reality, our teacher, our God, before we ever knew of a God...before we knew of our fathers. Men's need and drive to control and conquer the world has lead him to attempt to control the womb.
The controlling party the house are republican they do not believe in women right, I guess some had a conscience and vote against it because it an election year.
Our parents loved us just as God made us. Are you becoming gods now to differentiate between us all "provoke not your children to wrath " with "vain words"(Ephesians 6: 4) "for because of these things cometh the Wrath of God upon the children of disobedience" (Ephesians 5: 6).
Birth control should be done world wide for at least 5 years or more to cut the population down or the world will starve itself to death.Jim Thomas Phx.Az.
