Al jazeera has a great deal of cdbireility. They are doing excellent coverage. They do a lot of fact checking and have boots on the ground coverage. Unlike many main stream stations that tend to send in their talking heads only when the crisis has reached it's peak, Al jazeera has reporters all over the place.
I would say,when hell freezes overr.That is what those countries want,is for us to get involved and waste our money to the point where we as a nation go broke. Most of all though is our G.I.'s lives that would be wasted again.Stay out of it USA.Jim Thomas Phx.Az.
The headline says it all. Syria is a worst case scenario. Whatareyugonnado?
We still have not learn our lesson the Syrian want help right now because of the blood bath they are suffering. the Arabs country around Syria have go in, not US troops, they can be arm and train by the US. It a big mistake to send US troops into Syria. This people do not believe in the American democracy or our values. It will cost billions and at the end we will have a unruliness government. the Arabs will hate us, this will be a loose, loose situation for the US. Wolf get off the band for war, I know its hard to bear the suffering, but remember Russia and China change their ways.
There is no easy answer in Syria.
Two weeks ago this coming Sunday I posted on FNS Panel Plus F B page, then a week later all Sunday shows and others started focusing on this issue and have been.
I posted... "no arming"... the last thing this world needs is more arms in the hands of irrational people.
One area I like, when I have viewing time, is CNN's format in covering foreign policy. The other cable Alphabetista doesn't mention a word.
It was one thing to send in a few good men to take out one guy but now the real game begins...Iran and Syria...
Bombing a mountain side to dust is also different than inner city violence.
Syria will take time unless the American people want to sent their young men and women into a blood bath.
Same old same old...America wants to get involved in another countries problems and Russia and China want to support that country the way it is (no matter how evil) by voting against any direct action from the outside world. There is nothing in Syria, Russia or China for that matter that we can't make for ourselves. Cut them all off. Russia and China always talk big until it costs them money. The halfhearted sanction method never works. All you have to do is look at Iran to prove that. If Syrians want their freedom bad enough they will pay the price in blood and find a way.
