Obama administration: Yes, we use drones

The Obama administration publicly justified its use of unmanned drones to target suspected terrorists overseas for the first time Monday, with a top official saying the strikes are conducted "in full accordance with the law."

John Brennan, President Barack Obama's top counterterrorism adviser said strikes are used when the option of capture is not feasible. Brennan discussed the strikes during a Monday address at the Woodrow Wilson Center, a Washington think-tank.

"President Obama said here five years ago, if another nation cannot or will not take action, we will," Brennan said. "And it is an unfortunate fact that to save many innocent lives we are sometimes obliged to take lives – the lives of terrorists who seek to murder our fellow citizens."

    I just find it interesting that the same crowd who vilified George Bush for water boarding terrorists would rather just blow them up with an unmanned drone. I happen to agree with both water boarding terrorists and using drones if it means not risking us soldiers live and keeps US citizens safe at home and abroad. I just disagree with the hypocrisy of those on the left who are sanctimonious one minute and gung ho the next.

      I agree this was NOT the best format,you didnt rellay get to see anyone actually DEBATE! I also agree that Barac Obama talks way too much,he goes on and on and on!and he is NOT very exciting to listen to.I LOVE Dennis Kucinich he to me is new blood!! not Barac Obama, god he dosent even support gay marriage and gets all of his money from big lobbyists! Ill be honest I do Think Hillary won the debate, but I am for Dennis all the way!
