Shame on Wolf Blitzer for being such an activist journalist in regards to Hilary Rosen. I think he's the one who needs to apologize.

I agree with most of the posters on here. Ann Romney chose to stay home because she can afford to...my mother was a stay at home mom for a year and a half because she was laid off. She could've stayed home she could afford to but she chose to work for the extra income. But I think what Rosen was saying is that Ann Romney knows nothing about struggle. I applaud stay at home moms but Ann Romney is not your average stay at home. She could afford nannies and healthcare.

Cnn should chastize publicly wolf blitzer for rudeness and bullying, when he persisted in pushing hilary rosen to look into the camera and apologize to mrs. romney for saying she never worked in her life. What kind of a network is this?.....blitzer should apologize to rosen–on camera with rosen present. Shameful. Does he challenge the gop candidates and their pundits that way, while they insult the public by advocating further ruination of our standard of living? The gop is ripping at our safety net, & all regulations that protect millions of us. Does Blitzer challenge them to justify that insult to viewers right on the air? Rosen was entirely justified. Romney has platoons of hired help to cater to her, and never held a job, never had a real boss, while most women work every day of their lives–at 2 jobs, in the home and at their outside occupations–for an actual boss, not as a volunteer in her family's interests..

Kathie is right: I have nothing against Ann Romney, but she has never had to struggle to hold down a job, drag herself to work every day, even if she doesn't feel well, work on her feet or hunched over a keyboard all day, put up with a grumpy boss and surly customers, etc. On top of that, many women also have kids at home to raise, feed, educate, medicate, etc. All on a usually small salary. She may mean well, but she, like her hubby, hasn't a clue about the stresses and strains of the lives of the 99%.

WOW ! Is that the truth. I would much rather have a Walmart Associate as the first lady.

Ann Romney would most likely fail the same simple test that G.H. Bush failed a long time ago which is what is the current coast of a gallon of Milk, something which most Moms have to deal with on a daily basis and until the republicans get that they will not be able to understand the problems that the lower and middle class (the85%) face on a daily basis

to say that Ms romney can identify with the struggles of the middle class is nauseating. this woman has staff to meet her every need, drives cadilacs. sure, she was a stay at home mom but with how many nannies/maids helping her? when has ms. romney ever had to struggle to meet her bills/mortgage/etc–simple answer is never since she is living in the lap of luxury. I applaud her battle with MS and cancer but less affluent women also battle demons. ms romney has no idea the economic struggles the 99% face or the fact that WE pay more in taxes than the romneys do.

And if you were wealthy.....You wouldn't do thoes things. People who have made money in business have taken the chance to loose it all. And so do. Romney is one of the lucky ones. Have you opened a business or bought one ??

I guess all the attention on Ann Romney started when a reporter got her fingers burned when she made a knee-jerk report about Ann without running it by her fact checker. It was to be a little negative sound bite, but as it turned out, we all found out what a grand person Ann is.
