Rep. Bobby Rush was removed from the House floor for wearing a hoodie. CNN's Dana Bash reports on House attire.
Wolf, RE: Your segment on tonight's show regarding the voice analysis of George Zimmerman's 911 call, it was suggested that maybe the word "coons" was something else, such as "cold". This makes no sense whatsoever in light of the entire sentence, which was, "These (blank) always get away with it!" The word "cold" just doesn't work. ALSO, there is OBVIOUSLY an "s" at the end of the word in question...if you closely listen to the tape, you will almost certainly have to agree. I learned a long time ago that if it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then that's what it is. And in spite of all the obfuscation currently being thrown up by the press in order to not appear one-sided, it is OBVIOUS that what almost everyone thought in the beginning is STILL what almost everyone thinks: That what George Zimmerman says on the tape is : "These COONS always get away with it!" Just a reality check to help keep you focused on the simple (albeit egregeous) TRUTH of the matter.
Wolf blitzer, There would not happen to be a group of who people among whicch you find people called Zimmerman who were willing to distort pictures of ZImmermans wounds in order to help him escape justice when the fact that he escapes justice enormously prejudices a community who like the other one know what it is to suffer from prejudice. Is it that groups who have suffered from prejudice still dont may care about other groups who suffer from prejudice. If Zimmerman is not held up for manslaughter at very least, then no black youth is safe on the streets everyone will know they can kill them with out sufering consequences.
I have exerienced people who want a place cleaned of what they consider bad influences, who use descrete harrasment to keep away indesirables, may this not have been ZImmermans job, which then would be a sort of violation of the fact that streets are for all and one that in this case so badly frightened the person he wanted to pressurize that this person, maybe, attacked him leading to tragic consequences. rose macaskie madrid
There is a difference between freedom and stupidity.I wonder which one applies in this case?Jim Thomas Phx Az.
Any elected official who disregards the rules should be seriously centured. The Congress is not a play house, but a place where the serious business of our country should be paramount. Semper Fi
With our Congress already looking like a bunch of spoiled kids, it's not surprising that this Rep acted this way. It seems that we are being goverend by children who have forgotten why they are there in the first place. The Congress is supposed to take care of the American people and not play stupid games while taking our dollars. Semper Fi
This was an interesting statement. Removed ? Hard to believe. I thought freedom applied everywhere.
