Romney says poor have a 'safety net'
Mitt Romney is trying to explain what he meant when he said that he isn't concerned about the very poor or rich. CNN's Dana Bash reports.

I didn't like Romney very much until he made this comment. Why? Because, my wife and i bring home over 80k per year and are in a constant struggle to keep up. While our home is degrading and we can't afford to renovate, My sister who has never even tried to work and is married to a man who does even less lives in a bigger and much nicer home than us(Paid for by taxpayers). Every time she has another baby her home is upgraded with another bedroom. We pay full lunch prices for three children at school and can hardly feed them properly at home while her children eat free at school and even better at home due to foodstamps. I could go on and on with similar stories in every catagory like "our healthcare costs vs medicaid etc... bottomline ... the middle class needs ALL the help right now. The poor may not have everything they need but i'll take what they have been given any day!
Romney statement he dose worry about the poor, is the truth feeling of the GOP, the tea party, and the do nothing republican congress. He could not a have made a more true statement, he hit the nail right on the head. thats why their
mission is to cut social security and medicare, they do not care about the midlle class and the poor.
Romney just confirm the true thinking of the GOP and himself, supported by the tea party, and the doing nothing republican congress and its leaders, they do not care about the middle class and the poor of this country, that why they want to cut social security and medicare, the truth always come out!
Mitt's comment IS the context. To think that someone who is trying to just survive from meal to meal has the same economic mobility that a millionaire has is ignorant and insulting.
Amazing how people lurk just to find something to make a big deal out of nothing. Romney was right-on.....they, the poor, do have a multitude of helpful agencies to turn to.
