(CNN) - Help shape the debate in the race for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination.
Use the form below to submit your brief question to CNN’s Republican National Security Debate, co-sponsored by the American Enterprise Institute and the Heritage Foundation. Or tweet your questions to #CNNDebate.
The debate will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2011, in Washington, D.C.
Keep your questions short and sweet. Aim for 25 words or less, about two concise sentences. We may ask the candidates your question during the debate!
MY QUESTION FOR THE CNN REPUBLICAN NATIONAL SECURITY DEBATE:
How would you resolve the human rights issue in Burma ?
I wouldn't even try to resolve THEIR PROBLEMS until our own are in order for and by the people of our country!
I have listened to almost all f the debates, My question is when are anyone of the candidates going to mention anything about our COUNTRIES VETERANS and what they are going to do for them and their FAMILIES? Past and Present!
I would like to have seen any of CNN's reporters ask the question, but as usual VETERANS and Their FAMILIES are put on the back burner... SAD, Richard USMC Combat Wounded Vietnam Veteran
Do you believe the president has the authority under the AUMF and as commander n chief to declare an American citizen a terrorist and use military force domestically to prosecute that citizen as a terrorist target domestically? If not why not?
Would you please ask Mr. Romney why he nor any of his 5 strapping sons felt the calling to serve in the U.S. Military?
Do you believe military service should be a prerequisite of Presidential service?
How would candidates secure intelligence data when sharing that data between departments is vital. Wikileaks has shown us that this can be a major issue.
I would like to hear EACH of the candidates elaborate on how they will handle illegal immigrants. I live in Alabama and our new law appears to be working as illegals are self-deporting and the unemployment rate has decreased every month since the law was signed. Polls consistently show that Americans want the border sealed and the people that are here illegally deported, but it feels like nobody is listening.
PLEASE ASK THEM THESE QUESTIONS TONIGHT:
1.) IF waterboarding isn't a form of torture would the canidates be willing to try just 1/4 of the waterboarding procedure on themselves? Using a 'expert' to try it on them...just 1/4 of the normal 'non-torture procedure'.
2.) How are their idea's ANY different from the G.W. Bush economic plans of the past? Really, I personally don't see ANY difference, I'd like to know their difference from the former Republican President (G.W. Bush).
To stop the imagration problem , stop all the freebies from the gov. People would be fighting to go pick apples in Wa. No more wellfare, food stamps food banks make the lazy people go to work..
I've submited my question to Newt.
Questions for Mr. Gingrich.
"Are you prepared to give back all the money that Freddie Mac & Fannie Mae gave to you?"
and to his response.
"Are we allowed to quote you on that?"
Having given tax loopholes to both the rich and big business for over 30 years and yet no increase in jobs why are the Replulicians wanting the poor and middle class to continue carrying the load, The excuse that is creates jobs has now been proven not to be true, Do the GOP Canditates want to state truthfully at one debate why they do not want the Rich and Big Bussiness to Pay their Share, They continue to avoid questions and go another direction during many of these debates. Why not be honest and answer truthfully. Is it they are afraid the Big Business and Rich will no longer give to their campaign????? THank YOU
Joseph, I think you e right on point (tho I was raised a Republican). Our country unfortunately is no longer a Republic – but an Oligarchy.
How can Republicans defend the notion that raising taxes will kill jobs? The "Job Creators" hire based on demand for goods or services, not taxes. If a company cannot satisfy it's customers with their current staffing levels, they hire. Low demand: They downsize.
Grover Norquist wants the country to believe that if taxes are raised, it will kill jobs. It won't. He also thinks that if he and the rest of the Republicans say it enough, it will be true, but it's not. Taxes are not a job killer.
Please keep repeating the message in the regular programming until the country realizes that Grover Norquist is a charlatan.

Linda, according now to two agencies responsible for monitoring taxes, 47% of Americans paid NO Federal income tax after deductions in 2010 (me included). I call that a tax holiday. How can we even run our government and essential services, like defense, that being the case? This is getting to be absurd. Americans need to do the math. On top of that, the Social Security Adminsitration tells me that in 9 years when I am eligible, I will receive @ $1,200 a month in SS benefits ... I NEVER paid more than $200/month in FICA. Maybe it is "new math?"
Please ask the candidates the following question: "What is your opinion of talk show hosts Beck, Boortz, Hannity and Limbauth?"
Do you remember that Limbaugh was accused of being the head of the GOP?
Question for the debate:
Do you feel that the law that allows illegal aliens giving birth in the US shouls be changed so that their offspring are no longer considered US citizens?
Your Real Name: Ludmyla Carlborg
Question/Comment: I absolutely do not agree with problems in these questions. I am legal immigrant. At present I study in University. Soon I will open my business and give new job for American people. If new low that you want to create prohibid the joint of families, my son who lives in my home country never can come to me and live with me. My rights as U.S.A. citizen will be broken. I object your questions. Ludmyla Carlborg
If you become President will you get rid of all of Obama's Czar's and put in some common sense people?
With millions of Americans out of work and no growing job prospects projected for years, why are we still importing over a million legal immigrants every year? Additionally, many people believe the number of immigrants coming in every year is causing assimilation problems. Who sets the numbers and qualifications?
If President would you respect our immigration laws by closing the borders, deport the illegal aliens presenting residing in the U.S. , have them go to the back of the line to apply for citizenship and would you by executive order stop the anchor baby citizenship of those babies whose parents are citizens of another country?
The Obama administration has failed to enforce our immigration laws and instead instituted legal action against several states that have passed laws to assist in apprehending illegal aliens. Will you take the same approach?
Ken@ that is so very true...however it is NOT just OBAMA and his lot..the issue has been going on a long long time..Why not place our troops, ice and border patrol on allert to escort the violators back to the place where they came in(create jobs)...take all benifits away from them untill they speak our english, and show they have the means to support themselves in AMERICA...Or how about an ELLIS ILAND KINDA THINGY?we can only go to other countries after we show them our means of support!
Please give Jon Huntsman equal time. He's far and away the best candidate and has been all but ignored in the debates. No wonder he's ranked so low; he's never had a chance to say anything. If he doesn't get equal time, we're changing channels.
Why does our government continue to issue 1.5 million work permits/green cards every year to foreigners when we have the highest unemployment rate in recent history?
I have friends across the board, both Democrat and Republican. Yet no one seems to want to talk about the "math" of Social Security. I never paid more than about $200 a month in FICA, yet the SS Administration tells me that in 9 years, I will get $1,200 a month in benefits. How does that work? This seems like "new math" to me ...
With disastera effecting more people than ever,What are each the candidates views on long term funding for Emergency management?
