East Chicago, Indiana (CNN) - Wolf Blitzer joined forces with some of Hollywood’s hottest young stars and NBA legends this week to inspire kids to stay in school and dream big.
Nickelodeon “Supah Ninja” Carlos Knight and actor Kel Mitchell of “Goodburger” fame wowed the kids at East Chicago Central High School with a soundtrack provided by international DJ Skee. Former basketball players BJ Armstrong, Brandon Brantley, Rashard Griffith and Bridget Pettis rounded out the bench of successful celebrities offering up their advice to the kids.
The event was arranged by Wolf’s good friend, international businessman Reggie Martin, a 1990 alumnus of the high school and now a casino executive in Macau, China. Martin launched his “Education and Empowerment Foundation for Youth” at the event, in which Wolf took questions from the assembly of over 400 students.
