Unfortunately a lot has been left out. Chenny said "Ronald Reagan proved deficits don't matter." Except when RR realized how he was hurting the economy he passed the largest peacetime tax increase in american history. Bush was warned about the mortgage crises, toxic loans, housing bubble, and his tax cuts and he fired the two people who told him...his first two Secretaries of the Treasury. One in an interview on TV said that if Bush had listened we might not have had a recession or if we did, it would have not been so sever. This was the one that at GE Investment he had ten years before banned toxic loans from their investments as he considered them extremely risky.

PUT 14 MILLION AMERICANS BACK TO WORK! THIS CAN BE DONE WITH TARIFFS. With the average labor cost in many countries below $4.00 per hour, they can under-cut our American Made products pricing. Of course that is why much of everything that we buy is imported. “Free World Trade” is killing us. Controls on imports and out-sourcing is the fast way to put Americans to work. Such Controls built our middle-class and a 25% import tax will put our people back to work again and at a good wage. Please talk about this on CNN.

A War Criminal with no regrets about killing, maiming, or torturing over a million innocent Iraqi People, that had nothing what so ever to do with 9/11. Cheney should be in Prision... Not on CNN ! I wonder what Saddam would have said , if any Major News Media would have asked him, who gave him weapons of mass distruction in the first place. And doesn't it annihilate reason why, not one, American reporter interviewed Saddam Huessien after his capture. I guess hearing both sides of story, isn't of any importance, when looking to cover up the truth. I know Cheney and Bush were connected to Big Oil, I hope they'll be shoveling coal in a very hot place, and their victims obtain closure, for their horrific deeds.

How about a video/transcript of the excellent post Cheney interview where Wolf asks a panel of journalists to FactCheck Cheney's claims that segment was most interesting and I'd like to see it again! Thabnks M-L.

How can CNN provide a podium for an international war criminal (his own admission), documented liar, and weak-kneed cretin? Where was he on 9/11, hiding in a spider hole waiting for Saddam? CNN really hurt their credibility by allowing this thug on their program.

Open your mind up to understanding points of view that may differ from yours. That's what intelligence is all about. Stop hating and start listening.

It sickens me to hear Wolf Blitzer try to lay blame for 9-11 at the feet of Bush and Cheney. What about Clinton. Oh I forgot he was too busy having sex with an intern and making passes at women to worry about keeping us safe. It is time that you stupid liberals do your job and be fair with your reporting. The liberal media is part of the problem not part of the solution. You hate America and you are willing to stand by and cheer for the decline of this great country.

"you hate America" ........that's soooo old. The true Americans are the people that love this country enough that they denounce these crooks as they try to re-write history. Try taking a look at our foreign policy instead of just taking Cheneys word for it on whether the U.S. was treading where we shouldn't have been. Hell, Cheney was part of the group that ARMED Sadaam!

It is amazing that the right can blame Obama for everything that is wrong with this country. Even stuff that was there long before he was elected. Contrast that with this post by Earl. He can go back to Clinton to blame for 9-11. Cheny sent our youth and best citizens to die for his personal agenda of enriching his friends with no-bid contracts. Cheny is a criminal and will be seen this way through history.

You did not ask Cheney about the well reported men who were taking simulator flying lessons for big planes and wanted to know how to fly them but not how to take off and land. This was well known well ahead of 9/11.

It is incredible how Cheney can still defend the “workings” of the Bush administration. The only answer to the questions put forward could have been: Sorry, America! Sorry World! We messed up big! The old reflex to shoot first (and perhaps) ask questions later just does not work in this world anymore. Our arrogant way of “leading” this country, lying and cheating and being responsible for taking so many lives is no model for the future. It brought us down not to think and listen to people that wanted to solve problems. Like I said, I am very sorry and will try as much as my bad character will allow me to work for peace in the future since I am so grateful not to be spending the rest of my live in jail where I belong!

Arwa's response to Cheney interview is in Sept. 7 Situation Room transcripts. Can anyone point to books that detail those US clumsy and costly relations with Iraq?

Human beings are sheep. They get into the enhcamism, like Jeremy and they cannot be removed. He's an old guy who looks smart, who probably never gets more than a word of challenge. He is unprepared to combat the implacable common sense of the Shiffinator. Can't people put aside preconcieved notions and political alliegances to stand united to repel the wolf at the door?No of course not, NO damn way i'm giving up my piece of the pasture . the wolf isn't real! ***bahhhhh!!!***
