The stretch of freezing weather has kept people across the country indoors or under layers. But CNN's Jeanne Moos has the lighter side of media sucked into the "polar vortex."
For people of US this weather condition is extreme, but for us citizens of central Asia, Kazakhstan or Russia -30 or -25 C is a normal temperature. And we are experienced from our childhood that human being must not lick metal.
It begs the question, why? Why do newscasters think you won't believe how cold it is unless they do ridiculous things? And are the producers who dream up these things standng out there w/them?
