If they AR-15 is so awkward and bad for personal defense and the shotgun is so deadly, why are we not banning shotguns? Why go after this gun that is so hard to handle and aim when the shotgun isn't?

OK, so Joe Biden's advice is to empty the gun with two shots (it's a two-barrel shotgun) into the air? Great, that leaves you with no ammunition in the shotgun...now you are really at risk. Not to mention you've shot in the dark at _something_ without seeing it, maybe your child. And a 12 gauge shotgun is easier to handle than an AR-15? Heavy, unbalanced, and strong recoil is not easier for a woman to shoot. How come your detail doesn't carry shotguns with two rounds? Here's my advice: let me decide how many rounds I need to defend myself and what weapon I choose to use.
