James is totally right. My 300 Weatherby has more power in one shoot that the 223 by far also the way our rights are being eroded whats next concentration camps. It hurts my heart to see what this country has become.
This is a view from someone who was a platoon sargent at the Watts riots for 9 days. The first thing is that the police "bugged out" and people were on their own. People were pulled from their cars and beaten. I don't need someone to tell me that a lawful citizen should have only 10 rounds max to defend themselves. Go tell the Korean store owners they don't need the AR15's they used to denfend their lives like in the Rodney King riot. Also get it right the AR15 .223 is one of the lowest powered rifle rounds and the most popular deer rifle is THREE times more powerful.
I hope the Obama administration is also looking at the culture of this country which breeds these killers. If we are to believe that simply viewing cigarette ads causes kids to smoke, imagine what playing violent video games and viewing the violence that Hollywood brings to us can do to impressionable young people. If we are to infringe on the 2nd amendment, maybe it's time to infringe on the 1st amendment. We also need to look at how this country has devalued life. If it's perfectly fine to kill a baby via abortion, why isn't it all right to kill some other children? It seems the media only wants to focus on guns rather than doing some soul searching as to it's own part in these violent acts.
