the internet says we have about 3 million kids who are orphans, and everyone is worried about adopting overseas.I guess it's easier to just buy them than do a lot of paperwork.Overseas adoptions after our own are taken care of.

Why not we pass ADOPTION LAWS, inheritance laws. Are we in 3rd century. Make it more easier so that people adopt homeless. Again bickering??? Idiotic congress do not postulate this.

Our American government did this to us. We are in the middle of a Russian adoption and now they have ruined it for us. I will never salute the American flag again.

We are in the middle of a pending adoption in Russia, the children in the US will find homes and do live in foster care homes. For many Russian children who live in orphanages some will never even be able to be placed in foster care families. The conditions of the orphanages are not always adequate for their basic needs and much like the US the foster care system is filled with corruption. People taking in children for sole purpose of recieving a check every month most of which is never spent on the children. Tired of reading negative comments from Americans who have it way to good.
