Wolf Blitzer tours destroyed home in Beer Sheva, Israel

CNN's Linda Roth, who is out producing in the field with Wolf Blitzer, submitted these photos to CNN iReport.

Roth spoke to a family whose home was demolished by rocket fire in Beer Sheva, Israel. The family of two parents and five children, including a 9 year-old, told CNN they had a 30-second warning before fleeing to their concrete safe room on the bottom floor. The family was unharmed and the 9 year-old said she "isn't scared at all."

See more of Linda Roth's reporting here and tune in to CNN’s Situation Room today at 4pm ET to watch Blitzer's full report.

War is no solution. War always end up in the collective punishment of civilian populations.
The tragedy is that the current and past leaderships of the State of Israel do not see any guilt in the tragedy that has befallen the Palestinian people. Israelis before others need to take some time and reflect about the sufferings of the Palestinians. The Palestinian-Israeli conflict did not start today. It started when Palestinians were made to pay for the guilt of the West over the Holocaust and decades of anti-semitisim prior to that. The price Palestinians made was an ethnic cleansing carried by political Zionism.
We need to start working and talking about a solution to this conflict. And this starts only with addressing the roots of this conflict. President Obama is spineless and terrified by the power of AIPAC to do any serious work on this confilct. You cannot solve a conflict by ignoring the root causes.
While Jews are victims of the Holocaust, Jewish Israelis are victims of their own actions. The good news is that growing number of Jewish Americans and Jews worldwide are speaking out. These people of conscience are driven by the pain of their history.

They may reach a temporary cease-fire agreement
But by the look of it, a few more months and there will be war between Israel
To all the surrounding countries including Egypt and Turkey.
Syria has chemical weapons Hizblh not sit quietly
They have tunnels that reach into Israel!!
Iran has troops in the region in Gaza, Syria and Lebanon.
It does not look good at all!!!
The civilians on both sides will pay the price as always.

I have a 20 year old daughter living in Israel. I have been glued to the television and today was the first day you've reported and shown video on the physical damage done in Beer Sheva. What a shame that for the past week all I've seen is coverage in the Gaza.
