With the recent hostilities between Israel and Palestinians in Gaza...WHY are some guidelines NOT dictated for those two factions (since they are unable to do so for themselves) like "making Jerusalem an independent state as the Vatican is"...would be a good place to start. That holy city does NOT belong to the Israelis or Palestinians alone...it belongs to all peoples of the world. Someone has to "make a decision" to establish a "statehood territory" for Palestine. The other Arab countries use Palestinians, or should I say their "redheaded stepchildren" as a scapegoat for all problems between Arab and Jew.
