In fact there is no harm in negotiating talks with terror organization if they represent a country, have regular Govt. and support of its people through election. After all US feelers are negotiating with Taliban through third party. By talking to such organization, America reflects its confidence, strength and political maturity with remarkable leadership. Moreover during talk, opposite party get education & enlightenment for better governance which has more stable, durable and effective system of government. After all terror organizations too are part of people under domestic pressure and exploitation or saturated with extreme religious commitments which need to be brought into global civilized culture through systematic evaluation and development to give devastating blow to extremism. If talks & negotiations are not done directly, there will be lack of faith and trust through other weaker less dependable links. However it could be started with a heavy dose of barrage of missiles once to tell seriousness and importance of talks which are good for both parties. Waiting longer for issue to solve serious issues, dig in more extremism with pass of generation after generation affecting their mental image of America. Main objective of not negotiating with terror organizations are that they are not organized, do not represent the people of the country through election not that nobody wants to talk to them. As terror organization are not people, have splinter groups and cannot negotiate for integrity of decision, implementation and respects to treaty & international agreements, it is not good to talk to them.
John. Kerry is right that President Obama is very skilled & knowledgeable and take action systematically & appropriately. If need be there is no harm to negotiate with Iran directly to stop nuclear proliferation rather than going on war straight without global support of opinion. Giuliani ex-Mayor of NY during 911 criticized information system and politically charged the Bengasi deaths while he kept quiet during 911 when Bush administration had full intelligence and same CIA & FDI arms at his beck and call. It was a failure of coordination as per report of commission and sharing of intelligence for final action to prevent 911 where more than 3000 Americans were killed without provocation in WTC and other places. Making every tragedy a political issue is a lack of political gravity, vision & national administrative maturity. Unless full investigation report is recovered with bipartite action in Libya, it is not appropriate to blame anyone just to politicalize for election to President second term. America stance not to negotiate with terror organization is very correct but talking & negotiating with Iran which has legitimate Govt. to stop nuclear proliferation is not logical. It is always cheaper, tactical and strategically to use diplomacy but direct talks gives a stronger message of seriousness of issue, importance and time factors. Talking to Iran directly is not accepting a political or diplomatic defeat or humiliation rather it is a courage & confidence of American leadership to go upright to the issue country leadership. America has done directly with Soviet Union, Iran is too small to resist the positive talk and initiative. John Kerry deserves to be appreciated for his sober and balance opinion on the issues in confronting America and during election to President second term of America.
If the american peoples don't wake up this world will become even more dangerous for all of us. If Romney should happen to get the top office. We are all screwed and I do mean screwed big time.
