Wolf stated that if Big Bird loses this home, another network, like Nickelodeon, might pick him up. Lisa reported that you have to have cable to get that channel and that would effect low income kids. Since everything is now digital, you have to have cable for ALL the channels, including PBS, at least we do in rural Nevada. You must use DIsh, Direct or Charter Cable, because antennas don't work to get local stations. Sadly, she has no idea what she's talking about and didn't do her homework on this story. Lady needs to do her job or hire a factchecker.
People are fed up with Government overspending, waste and corruption, but Big Bird is the last Poster Chicken Romney should have picked to illustrate his position. Big Bird will win more votes than not amongst the Independent crowd. Bringing up Big bird in the debate was a huge Gaffe by Romney, ( in the long run), in my opinion.
