Mitt Romney's comments about preparation for the 2012 Olympics causes controversy in London. CNN's Jim Acosta reports.
It sure looks like another Bush to me, I guess he will pick Dick Chaney as his VP. He just secure my vote for President Obama
Mitt Romney just can't hide his self-centered, overblown ego. What can we expect from someone who was born into privlege and I suspect, pampered and told how absolutely marvelous he was 24/7. Only Mr. Romney can enter another country and manage to insult the entire nation within a matter of hours. Is this the the person we want to represent us in other countries when diplomatic skills are essential? I don't think so! And let's get this straight about President Obama's so called comment about folks not building their businesses. Any reasonable person understood he was saying that businesses count on government to provide roads and bridges and airport runways and soforth to get their goods to market. Don't forget all the folks who build those things. I could go on. President Obama is right. We are all in this together!
This man is such a boasting bully! This republican will NOT be voting for him. I have come to learn that Pres. Obama is thoughtful and caring.
My Republican vote goes to OBAMA 2012!
I thought it was a recognized and agree policy that when one travels abroad - whether representing one's country or not - one doesn't criticize either the country or the President - as a newly naturlized citizen - by the way I am British by birth and have a birth certificate to prove it - I am appalled at this - President Obama has done more to improve the perception of the rest of the world during his Presidency because of all the issues that he inherited as a result of Presdident Bush's attitude towards the rest of the world.
I don't know of any head of state who makes so many gaffes as Romney has made, and he doesn't even have the official nomination as his party's candidate! He criticizes the president for "apologizing" for America–what a load that is–but he's the one who has to apologize. If he wins the presidency, heaven forbid, it is US voters who should apologize to the rest of the world for electing him.
Why is Romney even meeting with such high officials when he isn't the Republican nominee? The time to do this would be after the November election if he wins, and before he takes office, not that I think he will. President Obama hasn't even gone to the opening of the Olympic Games, yet here is Mr. Wooden and his wife act ing like they're official representative of the US. They aren't.
I can't wait to see how many times he puts his foot in his mouth during the rest of his trip.
