What matters is that we get a law.”That is an outright criminal statement! The law is NOT the point. The point is the debate that allows americans and their political representatives to debate the subject at hand and come to a tolerable stance.law for the sake of law is no different then rule by decree. This is so terrible. My heart breaks for Matt and anyone else who has been sexually abused, especially as a child. I was molested by a family friend, and then repeatedly raped by friends of my "boyfriend" (someone I now know was more of a brainwashing pimp). All of this abuse leads to self-abuse, generally, so I understand why Matt was thought to be "acting out." My parents thought I was a bad kid, too. I write about all of this at my personal blog http://growingupvivid.com. This is a topic we all need to keep talking about, to be vigilant about in our community.
