NYT correspondent David Sanger explains the Obama administration's "light footprint" strategy for military operations.
I have listened to most of the speeches made by both the President Obama and Romney and I must say I was just as shocked as Obama was at the Debate when Romney changed his whole opinion suddenly and denied those things he said in the past. How could Obama be ready for someone like Romney when he did a complete Flip Flop. Now I know what people meant when they called Romney that name. I doubt I wouild ever trust anything Romney would say from this point on. I dont trust a Flip Flopper that will say anything at the moment that will get him votes.
President Obama's "light-foot-print" approach to military matters makes a lot more sense than the approach that brought us Two Wars... on the Chinese Credit Card. If we simply barge full-force into every country that disagrees with us, our resources will be depleted... and then one day, we will actually have to engage a formidable foe on some issue absolutely essentialto our national security, and we won't be able to rise to the challenge due to insufficient resources and a worn-out military... with no allies to call upon for help. President Obama knows exactly what he is doing.
one side of the whole thing must be check by other readings...
