Rep. Mike Bost was just as passionate as other political leaders and statesmen back in the days who are now considered "The Founding Fathers of the United States of America". Nothing wrong with the passion.

Amen. Michael. Zach, Dispassionate isn't any better because when you don't care at all then you are merely a crank turner. To say dispassionate is a sign of intellect is clearly not a well thought out statement. Oh could that have been a passionate comment? The passionate idiots are those feeling sorry for all these immigrants welching off the welfare system. There are capacity regulations for biz owners..... If there is a law to get passionate about it is about US citizens finally. So any politician showing passion for the people verses their mistress is refreshing! Bost for pres!

I couldn't help but notice the stupid twit behind him giggling away while this guy was passionately speaking for the people he represents. She would get one hell of a letter if she was there on my behalf. Passion is the one thing that has been missing in politics for a long time and it has caused a terrible mistrust of politicians. This guy should be running for president but we all know someone that genuine would never get the chance.

Couldn't disagree more - there is too much "passion" and not enough dispassionate, intellectual discourse driving legislators these days.
