I ran into to you thru MDOD. Glad you are here. Like what I have read so far. Hope you post Palin's speech toorrmow night as I might have to miss it. I'm trying to get out of my former engagement. We'll see. Keep up the good work. Your Smiling Maven
And how many millions is Obama eanirng?I am sure he will do even better in retirement when those he helped while he was in the White House return their favours.Tony Blair seems to have prospered much too in recent years.Expect Gordon Brown to do likewise despite the disastrous nature of his regime.Romney need not be embarassed by his riches.
Mitt Romney and the GOP think that American people can not the understand what they hear and read. that when they make false actuation Just like Gorge Bush and Dick Chaney did Lying about Iraq having arms of mass distraction and put this country to war and it has cost billion and American life they did it in cool blood.
When Romney speaks he also move his head up and down and he eyes trying to convince us he saying the truth, he indicating he saying the truth when you know its all BS, BS, BS! The only time he did not lie is when he said he did not care for the poor that came through loud and clear. I am with Obama all the way
The McCain campaign reoertpdly held a mock debate with Sarah Palin and according to some insiders it was disastrous. There is a good chance that McCain's latest stunt, his threat to not show up for last Friday's debate, was actually an attempt at getting rid of the vice-presidential debate altogether. So now what? Getting Palin off the ticket would be yet another way to generate some buzz, while getting rid of an embarrassing liability. At the same time, it would give the Obama campaign an opening to once again question McCain's judgment. Either choice brings its own set of negatives. My guess is that Palin will stay on board. At this point the expectations are so low that barring a monumental gaffe her debate performance will be viewed as good enough . Then the campaign will do their best to play that up and keep her out of the media.OTOH, rumors are also flying about the McCain people planning Bristol's shotgun wedding as a pre-election stunt. It could alternatively provide a good alibi for Palin to drop out.
Yesterday on AC 360, Wolf Blitzer, pratically reading from an Obama campaign memo, accused Romney of being "untruthful" when he claimed the economy "got worse under president Obama". After all, Blitzer says, how could the economy have gotten worse when we have had positive job growth for so many months under the Obama administration ? Blitzer's colleague , Erin Burnett, went even further claiming "Romney looks foolish" trying to talk down the economy when positive job numbers continue to be announced every month
Of course, what Blitzer, Erin and the mainstream media fail to report is that, in a post-recession period, the economy always creates jobs. The difference is that, under Obama and precisely because of his poor handling of the economy, we have seen the slowest rate of job creation in any post-recession period in recent history, which explains persistently high (structural) unemployment above 8 % for the past 4 years (a relatively new phenomenon in the US).
In that sense, Romney is telling the truth when he says that the economy is performing worse under Obama than it would normally do based only on the natural trend of the business cycle excluding any other exogenous factors. Informed voters clearly see that !
